The Safety For Diving

I wanted to from information that found on a cite about diving board saftey regulations. At first i did not really think about the saftey of it all but now i see that it must be a certain depth for you to not crack your head open.  Now when i first started diving i was  not interested in the safety regulations, i was more interested on like what the actually dives were and what you are aloud to throw, or do you have to be on the board the day before a meet practicing.  I love diving and there are abunch of interesting things about it.  Also, in diving there are many saftey regulations that you need to know. My biggest question on the safety of it all though was how deep the water had to be.
From this cite on eHow I found what the regulation on what the depth of the water had to be.  I think on my blog this is important to have sense my blog is all about diving.  I know this source is creditable because I see that it has other links that go off to other websites and that shows that this answer has variety.  It says to "Prevent diving injuries by installing your diving board over water that is at least 12 feet deep.
If you install your diving board over shallower water, you risk injuring yourself or others using your diving board" (eHow).  This quote is important because in diving you would not want to hurt yourself.  I thought this cite really helped me know how deep a pool must be with a diving baord.  If you have any infromation on height regulations for a board please post on my blog.
